| I just went down to a local race/performance shop and they had several different ways I could have done it. 1) Get the packaged stuff off the shelf, hope I get the right lengths and find the right collars to fit each one. 2) Go and cut my own to each length needed and find the right collars to fit each one. 3) Ask the guy behind the counter I need "these" (as I throw down all my precut silicon hoses) in stainless steel with fittings. Of course, I chose #3. He had a spool of "Earl's" stainless line in just about every size imaginable. He then cut each one by sizing it to my silicon hoses and supplying the necessary ends. It took about a half hour and I was out the door in one easy move. The connectors on all the lines are Earl's Econofit clamps. Spectre also makes a cheaper set if you can't find Earl's. For the vacuum lines, I just used colored shink tubing, no clamping needed as long as you get the right ID. You can do the same if you have a similar type of performance shop near you. Just pull off the hoses you want to swap out and take them with you. Just remember where you took them from or refer back to a service manual. Tell them you need stainless steel line with the hoseclamp connectors for the bigger ones and they should be able to cut them for you. It's not cheap. I think I spent roughly $150.00 on all the lines and connectors. Can't remember though. Yes, I did win that day. Well, 2nd anyway. I lost to a fully sponsored 350Z, but by only 2 points. Different rims would have given a 1st.
